I have a asp page that has a print button, when clicking the button it pops up the print dialog box. That is fine, but I want it to automatically be set at landscape, legal, manual feed. I am able to accomplish legal and manual feed, but the landscape does not stick. I am using IP Printing and set up the printer with all settings needed. The printer's use is only for this report. So how can I get this to print. I have heard you cannot, unless you install and active x that is fine but have no clue how to write one. What I am wanting is a way to do this, if using active x the code as well to make this happen. My OS is 2000. Any questions let me know. Thanks | |

Nickweb, I'm glad the Meadroid control will solve your problem. Here is the information again: Meadroid offers a nice component called ScriptX. I know several people who have used this with great success to get full browser print control. Meadroid ScriptX http://www.meadroid.com/sx_intro.asp ScriptX Documentation http://www.meadroid.com/scriptx/docs/printdoc.htm?static I believe that this is a free and freely distributable component. It only works for Microsoft Interent Explorer. Search Strategy: None - I knew of this control through past experience Good luck with your project! - Hammer - Hammer |
