Reproductive Rights Action League" and the local Californian
affiliates of the "Planned Parenthood Federation of America" are
organizing Abortion Clinic Defense and Abortion Clinic Escort, and
that they are always looking for volunteers who are willing to

those organizations and become active as a volunteer yourself:

Thank you for your efforts, but I asked only for Southern
California(although I would gladly go to Northern or Central
California for emergency defense), and CARAL is no longer in the
Southland. Also Southern California Planned Parenthood stopped
volunteer patient escorting several years ago, so I'm wondering if you
got your info off the various national org webpages, or if you spoke
to any of the facilities personally. For example, patient escorting
isn't even on the list of volunteer opportunities on the LA website,
and I periodically approach them about doing it.

Dear piscean,
My information derives exclusively from the websites I consulted
during my research. Speaking to the employees of those organizations
personally would be rather complicated for me, since I am located in
Europe. I trusted in the statement I found on Planned Parenthood's
national website, calling for volunteer clinic escorts.
But I have also found an actual calls for such vounteers on one of
Planned Parenthood's local Southern Californian websites:

And, though not located in Southern California, I found also this

These findings led me, not without reason, to the conclusion that the
local Planned Parenthood organizations are searching clinic escort
and/or defense voulunteers in general.
Maybe you would be interested in approaching the Planned Parenthood
Federation of America to ask them directly for volunteer clinic
defense and/or escort opportunities in Southern California? If someone
has the best access to that kind of information, it should be them:
