Dear Scott42,

Thank you for your inquiry. I hope the following information will help you in

== Basic Ingredient Breakdown

1 whole pig or suckling pig
1 BBQ, oven or open pit
Various spices and marinades
Aromatic wood
Charcoal

== The Pig
Thanks to the diversity of the Bay Area, there are many ethnic butchers from
whom you can request a whole pig. It may still need to be special ordered.

Some suggestions are:

Ranch 99 Market
http://www.bayarea99ranch.com/
They have locations throughout the Bay Area.

Andronico’s
http://www.andronicos.com/about_andronicos/about_andronicos2a.html
This local chain is a high-end grocery store. The just started to carry Niman
Pork products. You can probably special order a whole pig or suckling pig.
This is also a fantastic place to find all those fancy spices the recipes call
for.

Some local butchers in San Francisco Bay Area.
These may or may not be able to provide a whole pig.

Search for ”meats” and put in a local city. I was able to find several in San
Francisco and Oakland.

In a firts time I found a page where it's explained how to roast your pig ! It
can be very usefull !

To rent a pig roaster, you can go on this site :
http://www.abrental.com/partysupplies.htm in the heading "Grills & Griddles"

To rent it you have to go to the form adress :
http://www.abrental.com/feedbackform.htm and ask a catalog (but I checked, they
got pig roaster)

This is my second comment (I'have already commented on the question which title
was "Famous 4-hour sleepers" ) And I'd like to become a websearcher. I applied
but I'm waiting for the answer.

Voila ! ;-)
