I have reservations at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on JUne 27th
and 28th.  The best rate I could get is $179.00 per night.  I've tried
Hotels.com and Travelocity, but they do not offer rooms at the MGM.

Question:

Please help me find a room rate at a much better price, but it has to
be at the MGM Grand Hotel on 6/27 and 6/28.

Do you already have reservations, and want them reduced to a lower
rate?  Or do you plan to cancel those reservations if you can find the
lower price?

Have you already contacted the MGM Grand itself to see if they can
offer you a lower rate?

Do you have any memberships or affiliations that might get you a
reduced rate?

Are you looking for a particular type of room?  (What kind of room did
you reserve, and would you prefer that kind or a different one?)  How
many adults and children would be staying in the room?

I already have reservations and when booking with MGM directly I could
not negotiate a lower price, as I was told "you are lucky to get this
price".  I can cancel this reservation if it is easier to set up a new
one.

I do not have any memberships or affilations that could be of help. 
The room is for two adults only and I want the least expensive room
avaialble, no special room requirments or needs.

They may be telling you the truth too. The prices I found ranged from $209 to $369.

I just went to Vegas.com and found I could book 2 nights on the said
dates for a total of $279.00 which is $139 per night.
BTW...I used a Google search to locate it. Of course this is before 9%
vegas tax etc.

Whoops !!!!  Just noticed that I had entered wrong dates !! Sorry ! I
had put in for the 26th and 27th ! The 27th and 28th are coming up at
$400 for tose 2 nights...plus tax etc.
