How do I check someone's credit online?  I am a landlord renting a
single unit and want to check the cretid of a prospective tenant.  I
have checked a number of credit bureau sites but they
all seem to provide for checking one's own credit.

Talk to any other apartment owner in your area and they can tell you
how to subscribe to a service that offers what you are looking for, or
they may even offer to do the search for you if you just need a few
lookups.
