Hello hnw, Well that was certainly quick! I am glad we were able to assist you. As noted, the person is most likely, Robert Henry Williamson. He served as Rector from 1866 until 1873 for St. Stephen's church. I searched for more pertinent information about Mr. Williamson, but it is near non-existent on the internet. Information on Mr. Williamson at St. Stephen's http://www.ststephenswb.org/page4.html A local search may prove to be more fruitful, as they keep older records : Luzerne County Courthouse 200 N River Street Wilkes Barre, Pa 18711 Ph# 570-825-1500 Osterhout Free Library 71 S. Franklin Street Wilkes Barre, Pa 18702 Ph# 570-821-1959 http://www.osterhout.lib.pa.us/ Wyoming Historical Society 49 South Franklin Street Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 Ph# 570-823-6244 http://www.experiencepa.com/experiencepa/details.do?name=Wyoming+Historical+and+Geological+Society To assist with this answer, I searched Google for : Williamson "Wilkes Barre" "church" ://www.google.com/search?q=Williamson+%22Wilkes+Barre%22+%22church%22 Should you need any clarification, please do not hesistate to ask. I would love to be of further assistance! SgtCory |

Hi hnw! Based on my research, as SgtCory indicated, I suspect you're referring to R. H., not R. N. Williamson. R. H. Williamson served as rector at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church in Wilkes-Barre from 1866-1873. The details are so close that I have a feeling this is your man! You can view Saint Stephen's church history at the following URL: <http://www.ststephenswb.org/page4.html> All the best! emjay-ga |
