I am looking for a mideval Italian prayer which was somthing like this:
"O dieu che me amore, ordonna me amor"
What is the exact prayer and citation?

It was a prayer that the late famous physiologist Warren McCullough
like to quote.  Sorry for the apocrophal reference.  Warren may have
made it up!
