What is the name of the piece of music used in the Sprite commercial
featuring Kobe Bryant training?

View the commercial here:

http://www.sprite.com/nba/nba (right side of the page under Kobe
Klip)

NOTE: An acceptable answer WILL **CONFIRM** BOTH THE NAME AND ARTIST
of
the music used in this commerical, and will receive a tip. No guesses
or "99% sure" answers.

CAUTION: I have researched this and found that this music IS NOT "It's
About That Time" by Large Professor.

According to Eric at Coca Cola, no information is readily available
about this clip. He says it looks to be an amalgamation of two
previous clips - "Weight Room" (which featured Jermaine Dupri singing
"Welcome to Atlanta" in the background) and "Boxing".

I suspect it's the song Knoc-Turn'al was working on specifically for
Sprite. Eric has put in a request for information me, but it may take
7 - 10 days for confirmation.

Hang in there! Someone will get this sorted out for you!

Hello Rippo!

The nice people at Coca-Cola got back to me about 2 minutes ago.

The video clip you note above is titled "Portraits". The "Anthem"
music is original to the clip, and was created by music producer
Teflon.

Coke also included information about two other clips currently airing
- "Boxing" and "Weight Lifting":

Thank you for contacting us at The Coca-Cola Company. We appreciate
your patience while researching the music in our Kobe ads. There are
three different ads featuring Kobe at this time: Portraits, Weight
Lifting, and Boxing.

Portraits features clips of Kobe running, lifting weights and boxing.
Anthem music was created for the spot by a music producer, Teflon.

Weight Lifting focuses on Kobe's weight training. "Groove is On" by
Groove Armada was used in this ad.

Boxing concentrates on his use of boxing to train. "Bout that time"
by Large Professor is the soundtrack.

One Coca-Cola site mentions "an original score by Amir and The Roots"
in connection with the Kobe Sprite ads. I don't know whether it refers
to this particular commercial, however.
