There is a smattering of information available on Judge Higginbotham,
including the fact that she received the lowest rating of all family
court judges in E Baton Rouge Parish, in a survey of lawyers
practicing before the court.  Her scores were particularly low in some
areas involving "integrity" and "competence".  Other records seems to
indicate she is well respected by her peers on the bench.

As for controversial rulings, although these likely exist, none
appeared from a preliminary search.  I'm afraid I know of no easy way
to sort through a Judge's cases and distinguish the controversial from
the routine.
