I'm looking for info on creating custom software for the Friendly Robotics RoboMower. The hardware is a good platform for robotic mowing, so I'd like to be able to download my own control code into the unit. It doesn't look like the company offers any support or an SDK, but I have to imagine that *someone* has reverse engineered this thing. |

Hi bigjosh, sorry to inform you that Friendly Robotics officially says "that's not an option:" I called their dealer support hotline and the gentleman who answered was very gruff in responding that there's nothing like an sdk available. If you want to try your luck, here's the contact information: U.S. & Canada Contact Information Friendly North America Inc. PO Box 1128 Coppell TX 75019-1128 USA Tel: 214-277-8100 Fax: 214-277-8181 Email: friendly@friendlyrobotics.com I'll keep looking for a hack, but I'm skeptical. Have a good day, not_you-ga |
