Have 2003 Hyundai Accent, 4500 miles, stock equip, GT version (i.e.
racing tuned suspension). When making hard right turns it sometimes
(often?) doesn't hold the turn properly, it kind of sways or rocks
between left and right. It's a bit like it slides to the left and then
bounces back to the right. I get great performace from the left turns,
and I'm not talking hard right turns that have screeching wheels
pushing me to the left (there's no sound, I've listened quite
carefully). It doesn't at all feel the way it should.

It doesn't seem to matter if 2 people are in the car, either.
I've already taken it in to the shop for them to adjust the alignment
slightly, and I've always assumed the problems are related.
I'm going to take it back in and try to get a mechanic to take a ride
with
me. I'll need to find a turn that is suitable, but I'm worried that I
cannot within a reasonable distance of the dealership.

I've tried all sorts of google searches on like combos of words like:
car trouble sway turning "in a turn" rocking back-and-forth etc.
and can't get anything pertaining to this problem. The closest that I
got was at this site: http://207.242.75.40/derbtech/steering.htm
but, it is a site about derby racers.

I'm at a loss and I want to get this car problem resolved. Especially
while it is still low milage and in the highest warranty range.

Any ideas on what I can say to them or do to get some answers?

thanks

Have you ruled out insufficient tire pressure and/or loose lug nuts?

Also, check and see if your car has a sway bar installed and if it is
good and tight. I know you said it comes with a racing suspension (and
they normally have one) but you really ought to LOOK and make sure
that it hasn't been removed by a previous owner, dishonest car dealer
(are there any dishonest car dealers? :0 ), or some sticky fingered
guy who might have wandered into your driveway one night with a wrench
and a flashlight.
