I would appreciate details of where I can buy spindles of blank 74 min/650 MB CD-Rs please. I am discovering they are surprisingly hard to find. I live in the UK and would prefer to buy online from a reputable UK source. I would consider buying offline via mail order, but preferably from a vendor within the UK. I want 74 min/650 MB CD-Rs - not 80 min/700 MB, and not CD-RWs. I don't want the CDs in jewel cases, or any form of cases - I just want the CD-Rs on a spindle. I want at least 20 (preferably 50 or 100) CD-Rs to a spindle. It would be helpful if any results you come up with could be ordered by price per CD-R (ascending) and then by the likely delivery time (ascending), though I don't mind if this information is unavailable. |

Hi goverton, I'm also surprised at how difficult it is to find 74 minute CD-Rs, but they are available with a little hunting. I managed to dig up five places for you. I couldn't find out shipping times for you though, I'm sorry to say. edirectory.co.uk has a 25-pack spindle of JVC CDs for £11.16. They claim to be specially designed for audio. The link is here: http://www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/Pages/moreinfoa.asp?RecordID=HDIBHE&companyid=880 blankcdr.co.uk also has 74 minute spindles. A 100 pack goes for £25.00, £29.38 Including VAT at 17.5%. The link is here: http://www.blankcdr.co.uk/acatalog/CDR_Supplies_Direct_Unbranded_CD_R_74_80_Min_24.html Unbranded 100-pack spindles are £19.60 (probably plus VAT) here: http://www.m-techdirect.co.uk/items.asp?CDM Unbranded 50-pack spindles are £15.49 (I think that includes postage) here: http://www.digital-trader.co.uk/ProductDetails/cdr_50off_spindle.htm And finally there is a 30-pack spindle of Sony 74 minute CDs for £12.99 Including VAT at 17.50% here: http://www.ink-4-less.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Cdr_Media_294.html Unfortunately I don't have personal experience with any of these merchants, so I can't offer any adivice about which is the best to shop at. Hopefully one of these stores will suit your needs. Hibiscus |
