Hello.

I did some searching over at the California Veterinary Medical Board [
http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/wllqryna$lcev2.startup?p_qte_code=VTX&p_qte_pgm_code=9010
]

The only name that seems even close is:

Robert D. LaBounty, DVM.
http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/WLLQRYNA$LCEV2.QueryView?P_LICENSE_NUMBER=3412&P_LTE_ID=805

Additional contact information for Dr LaBounty:
http://www.venturablvd.com/studio_city/SDC8249.html

Here's an excerpt from an article that mentions Dr LaBounty:

'LA veterinarian Robert LaBounty believes pit bulls are responsible
for more deadly attacks than any other breed (though such attacks are
rare). "Probably German shepherds have bitten more people," LaBounty
says, "but pit bulls have killed more."
Still, he says, "I like them. They can be good pets. Most are not
people-aggressive. I have more trouble with some of the smaller
breeds, like the miniature pinscher."'
source: "OWNERS TO BLAME, SAY PIT BULL LOVERS"
http://home.intekom.com/animals/services/news/domestic/pitbull_owners_to_blame.html

search strategy:
california Veterinary board
labo-

I hope this helps. If you should have any reason to believe that Dr
LaBounty is not the right vet, please use the "request clarification"
feature to let me know. Thanks.

Here is his contact info:

Alternately, you can go here, and thumb through every vet starting
with an "L" in the state of California:

Hope that link wraps. If not, cut and paste it into your address bar.
