Let's begin with the fact, that "top" is something very personal, and
at the end of the day, there is much that is left to individual
choices. There are more than 500 colleges in the United States alone
that offer a programme in mass communication or journalism. Who
determines what is the best? If there are many job opportunities after
achool? If they teach the most updated theories? If they have "big
shots" that teach for them? Therefore, I would treat s list on mass
communication and journalism departments, with suspicion and
criticism.
