I'm looking for the name of a techno song that is played in studio 54
in vegas, When it comes on, it sounds like a train is coming through
the club. Everyone calls it the train song, but i havn't been able to
locate the actual name

Hi Crapking,

Could it be "Star Guitar" by The Chemical Brothers? I've put a
snippet of it here: http://www.projectorgames.com/starguitar.mp3 If
so, I'll post it as an answer. If not, I'll keep racking my brain :)

I've heard it, I think I found it, however I can't locate a free clip
of it so you can confirm. The same artist did make another one,
similar, called Night Train. I did find that one online --you can
confirm Night Train (yes or no) here:

Night Train - (actual) Sound File
http://club.mp3search.ru/lofi/53623.m3u
Opens in Windows Media Palyer, or your default player. Not much of a
Train in this one.

I think it's Freight Train though, the other one. I'll keep looking
for a file to confirm.

Let me know about Night Train. Does it sound like the same artist
could have done it?

The song I'm looking for doesn't have any words in it, but that was a
pretty good guess though. Thanks for the response.

hey, thanks cynthia, but it isn't night train either, the beginning of
the song starts out like a really intense train whistle, also their
are no words in the song. I don't believe the name has anything to do
with a train either.

Someone just told me that it was a house mix if that helps anyone out.

Don't rule it out yet, there's a bunch of songs named Freight Train
--the one you want to try to find is by DJ 'Robbie Tronco.'

I got DJ's names at Studio 54 as well, from the Las Vegas - MGM Grand
- Studio 54 web site. They open the club at 10:00pm. A good time to
call would be about 30-40 minutes prior to their opening.

Keep me posted...
