Blitz Power Gum is sweetened with sucralose (better known by the trade
name Splenda.)

"Blitz Power Gum, like the popular Blitz mints, is sweetened with
sucralose Splenda, 600 times sweeter than sugar.

The U.S. FDA approved sucralose for human consumption in 1998. It is
safe for diabetics, and eliminates the aftertaste and allergy issues
associated with aspartame, the leading artificial sweetener."

"Blitz Power Mints and Blitz Power Gum are the world's exclusive
breath fresheners that are sweetened with Splenda, the safest
FDA-approved sweetener on the market."

"Blitz Power Gum has developed two power-packed flavors—Freshmint and
Spearmint. The gum is packaged in a distinctive, slim plastic case.
Blitz Sugar Free Power Gum (using Splenda as the exclusive sweetener)
answers the consumer’s desire for a delicious, flavor-packed,
sugar-free, breath-cleansing gum in a convenient, discreet package."

Sucralose is not a sugar alcohol. Here's a bit of information on both
sucralose and sugar alcohols:

"Splenda®
(Sucralose) Sucralose is the only non-caloric sweetener made from
sugar. Sucralose is derived from sugar through a multi-step patented
manufacturing process that selectively substitutes three atoms of
chlorine for three hydroxyl groups on the sugar molecule. This change
produces a sweetener that has no calories, yet is 600 times sweeter
than sucrose ( table sugar ). Sucralose tastes like sugar. It has a
clean, quickly perceptible, sweet taste that does not leave an
unpleasant aftertaste. The exceptional stability of sucralose allows
both food manufacturers and consumers to use it virtually anywhere
sugar is used, including cooking and baking.

Sugar Alcohol
or
Sugar Alc.
Sugar Alcohol is neither a 'sugar' nor an 'alcohol'. Sugar Alcohol's
such as Maltitol, Sorbitol, Mannitol, Xylitol, or HSH ( commonly known
as Lycasin® ) affect the blood glucose levels less dramatically than
regular table Sugar (sucrose) as they are digested and absorbed much
slower. Although Little or no insulin is needed for metabolism of
sugar alcohol's they still must be counted as a carbohydrate in the
meal plan. Sugar alcohol's are not free foods. Foods containing 'sugar
alcohol's' but no sugar can be labeled 'SUGARFREE' according to the
FDA. We suggest only consuming the recommended serving size as excess
consumption can cause abdominal discomfort and / or a laxative
affect."

Jim,

I am sorry to have made an error. Since the National Association of
Convenience Stores Online site said "Blitz Sugar Free Power Gum (using
Splenda as the exclusive sweetener)", I took this to mean that no
other sweeteners, such as sorbitol, were used.

I have exhausted my searching resources, and have found no other
sugar-free gum that meets your requirements.

You may request a refund so that you will not be charged for my

Reason this answer was rejected by jim751-ga:
I reposted this question but heard nothing further.

The original researcher made a sincere effort, but was misled early on
by some inaccurate wording on a website, which unfortunately formed
the basis for an inaccurate answer.

I was very pleased, however, with the answers I had received to two
earlier questions I had posed to Google Answers and I am sure I will
be using your service again in the future.
