Hello: We have recently launched a new system for our web based subscription privacy system. We have had some complaints about things not working properly and have been unable to duplicate most of the problems. What we are looking for are quasi beta testers for our services. We will need you to go through the payment system (creating an account) and then test using our systems (anonymous browsing, anonymous web based email, IE toolbar, online bookmarks) and will then need comments from you on what didnt work, or should have worked a different way. We will need you to test this for a few hours, browsing many pages, and seeing how it all works. We will be looking for multiple testers. |

Hi there, There is a group that does exactly what you've described. They are a network of people who are beta testers in their spare time. The group includes a whole variety of systems (windows, linux, mac, etc) and various connection speeds. They regularly test new softwares, games and websites and their comments/reports are quite helpful. How many testers and how extensive a test you want is up to you. The contact information is: sophiecolins(a)yahoo.com When you're emailing them, just replace the (a) with @. I have written the email address as above to prevent their email from being spammed. Best regards, |

Hello Jalm1, If you need multiple testers, I suggest you post the question multiple times. And if you decide to do so, please add a note that it's an intentional multi-post (so that Researchers know it's not an accident). If you do not want to repeat your question specifications, just point to this, the previous question. Also, it would be necessary for you to make the payment system work with a certain keyword/ dummy data, so that no one would have to enter real e.g. credit card information. To get the best answer out of your question, it would also help for you to make sure to evaluate how much time would be needed in order to conduct the test for someone not knowing the site before-hand, and to adapt the question-price for the multi-part question accordingly (if you decide to use this approach). Hope this helps! |
