Please get me - preferably from the web - the two or three best
write-ups on L1 Theory (Theory for the Acquisition of First Language)
or Child Language Theory.

The best write-ups should:
- synthesize the CORE of the theory and not give ISOLATED views of
various linguists; but if the synthesis of the theory is dominated by
few heavyweights' views, so be it
- be COMPREHENSIBLE by the laymen (ie, limited use of jargon)
- include LATEST views on L1 Theory but need not include the old views
which have been rejected (ie, I am not looking for history of L1
Theory)

Please note, I am looking for the brief write-ups (eg, 5-20 pages),
not a book.
The answer would of course be your subjective opinion and I will
accept that.
If I like even one of the articles, expect a tip and 5-star rating.
