I would like to know if it is possible to create a colloidial
suspension of platium group metals in glacial acetic acid by
dissolving pdch3cooh into it. And more importantly can it be done by
striking an arc between two peices of the metal immersed in glacial
acetic acid instead of dh2o as is commonly done. References would
help.
