I am looking for any information on an artist in the U.S.. R.C.
Stanley was born in Chicago, raised in San Diego, last known living in
Malibu with wife and three children.
Married to Joyce Carol (a brilliant concert pianist). A lot of his
paintings are in the poccession of Mr & Mrs Larry Greene. I have a
painting of his and I need valuation.

Snappersnout-ga,

I located one oil painting for sale signed by R.C. Stanley. The vendor
describes where the artist painted this work, under what circumstances
and the year. There is a close-up of the signature as well.

That’s all I was able to find about R.C. Stanley.

Thanks
Bobbie7-ga

Snappersnout,

I located a webpage where there is an oil painting by R.C. Stanley for
sale. It says where and when R.C. Stanley did this painting. The
price of the painting is quite low.

Would you like me to post the link to this webpage as an answer to
your question?

Thanks,
Bobbie7

Thank you for your recent email. Any info you can give me on how,
what, when and how much would be greatly appreciated.
The painting I have is an oil of two old type sailing ships sailing
side by side done basically in all deep red colour. The painting is
approx. 30cm (12in) by23cm (9in), and we have had it for about 35
years. At the time I got it, I was told it was worth a conciderable
amount of money.
Any help at this stage is more than I have had in the past.
Thank you
