Since I did not know whether the information I posted would be useful,
I did not post it as the official answer to your question. I'd be glad
to do so if my previous comment (the link to an earlier question I'd
answered) helped you to solve your problem.

Please let me know if you would like me to repost my "comment" as an
"answer."

Hello again, eebaes. Thank you very much for accepting my comment as
the answer to your question.

An answer I gave to a similar question will provide information on
clearing the "search history" of your Google Toolbar:

In a comment, you mentioned that you find Google Answers complicated
to use. Please know that we don't intend to make things difficult for
our customers. Once you get accustomed to the way things are done
here, it will be a snap for you to ask a question and get your answer.
If you'd like a step-by-step guide to the question-and-answer
procedure, a Google Answers Researcher has prepared one. You can read
it here:

I am pleased to have been able to assist you in solving your problem.
If anything is unclear, please use the "request answer clarification"
feature, and I'll gladly do what I can to help.

Best wishes,

I posted a question recently and saw your comment.I found an answer
which might benefit you, should my type of question come up again.I
went to "Help and Settings" in Windows Explorer ,then to
"Settings",then "Internet Options" then Clear Browsing History" then
"Yes" and it cleared the Box.

Thanks for letting me know what worked for you! There are so many
different versions of browsers and toolbars that there seem to be
hundreds of ways to handle this situation, and narrowing it down can
be very frustrating. I am glad to hear that your problem is solved.

Hi lifeisbeautiful-ga,
Only Google Answers researchers can post answers (in the answers
place) and get paid for them. Non researchers are only allowed to post
the solution as a comment. You do not get paid for this, but you do
get to share your knowledge, and eebaes-ga gets a solution for free!
:-)

Hope this helps.

answers,but they have not helped.
"Google" in MSN Explorer will not let me delete the items listed under

eebaes,

You cannot post a rating because nobody has posted an official answer
yet. Did Pinkfreud-ga's information answer your question?

I had no way of rating you, although your answer hit the mark.It was
followed by an answer from a researcher, whom I then rated as there was
a box to do so.To me this all seems complicated,.

eebaes,

You have not yet received an official "answer." All the remarks above,
including mine, are "comments." If my comment helped you to solve your
problem, I can post it in the "answer" section, at which time the
answer can be rated. Let me know if this would be satisfactory.
