I enter MSN Explorer, then click on Google,I then Type a letter in the search box and other items are listed below the box which I wish to eliminate or erase.I have tried the Internet Explorer approach,Options,Content Auto Complete, uncheck Web addresses, forms and user names and passwords, but that does not help deleting the items in the MSN Explorer, under thr Google search bar.

Hello again, eebaes. Thank you very much for accepting my comment as the answer to your question. An answer I gave to a similar question will provide information on clearing the "search history" of your Google Toolbar: http://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=212150 In a comment, you mentioned that you find Google Answers complicated to use. Please know that we don't intend to make things difficult for our customers. Once you get accustomed to the way things are done here, it will be a snap for you to ask a question and get your answer. If you'd like a step-by-step guide to the question-and-answer procedure, a Google Answers Researcher has prepared one. You can read it here: http://www.christopherwu.net/google_answers/answer_guide.html I am pleased to have been able to assist you in solving your problem. If anything is unclear, please use the "request answer clarification" feature, and I'll gladly do what I can to help. Best wishes, pinkfreud

Hi lifeisbeautiful-ga, Only Google Answers researchers can post answers (in the answers place) and get paid for them. Non researchers are only allowed to post the solution as a comment. You do not get paid for this, but you do get to share your knowledge, and eebaes-ga gets a solution for free! :-) For more information, check out the Google Answers FAQ: (http://answers.google.com/answers/faq.html#aboutcomments) Hope this helps. I have received two replies. Those things I have tried.I have no problem with "Google" in the Internet Explorer. When I access "Google in the MSN Explorer is when I can,t delete.I thank you for the answers, but they have not helped. "Google" in MSN Explorer will not let me delete the items listed under the search box |

eebaes, You cannot post a rating because nobody has posted an official answer yet. Did Pinkfreud-ga's information answer your question? - Hammer |

I had no way of rating you, although your answer hit the mark.It was followed by an answer from a researcher, whom I then rated as there was a box to do so.To me this all seems complicated,. |

eebaes, You have not yet received an official "answer." All the remarks above, including mine, are "comments." If my comment helped you to solve your problem, I can post it in the "answer" section, at which time the answer can be rated. Let me know if this would be satisfactory. ~pinkfreud |
