This song is sung by a male singer. The words in part are:
Tell me my darling if you love me,(repeat)
Or if all the tears I shed are shed in vain.

The correct title and artist information would be greatly appreciated.
It recieved a lot of air time every day, probably in KRLA at that
time.

Hello highway395,

The song is "Sometimes", performed by Paul Revere & The Raiders. The
lyrics you mention are:

"Tell me, my darlin', if you love me
Now tell me if you feel the same
Tell me, my darlin', if you love me
Or if all the tears I shed were shed in vain"

The song appeared on "Here They Come", a 1965 album. You can hear a
clip from the song at Tower Records web site.

Awesome! What a nice surprise to finally fill in the blanks! Now I can
get the song for my husband who has been trying to find the title for
a long time.
Thank you very much.
