No, this is not a geography question.

In what parts of the world is the population generally getting older,
getting younger, and staying about the same? By continent or by
country is fine.

I meant to say, it is not a geology question. I guess it is a geography question.

P.P.S. The human population, lest there be any doubt.

Hi natalieemt,

There are several terrific demographic website, but the United Nations
Population Division website seems to be one of the easiest to use.

http://esa.un.org/unpp/index.asp?panel=2

I chose data for 1970 - 2030 for each of the six main regions. You can
play with it online if you want to and choose different variables
including years, countries, and ages. In general, all regions are
getting older with Europe leading the way. None of the regions are
getting younger, but North America has the least percentage of loss in
that group. None of the regions are staying the same but North America
is stable in the 15 to 64 age group.
