I'd like to know how to find the value (if any) of a collection of
postage stamps I found at a garage sale. There are US and foreign
stamps in the collection. They aren't very well organized. I'd guess
there are around 1000 - 2000 stamps. Some are new and some are
cancelled. It looks like the person who collected did so until the
early sixties. Dates range (from what I can tell) between 1900 and
1965. Majority seem to be 1930 - 1950. Some are from countries that
now have new names. I don't have the time to research each stamp or to
put them on ebay. I'd like to find a dealer in or around the
Harrisburg PA area that could evaluate/appraise them. What would the
fee be?
