Can I search for a person's name and company and/or home address to
get his email address?

There is no central directory of e-mail addresses. Finding someone's
e-mail address is usually a hit-or-miss affair. Many people have
multiple addresses and change them frequently, so even if you do have
someone's address there's no guarantee that it's still in use.

All that said, here are three sites you can use to try to find
people's addresses:

@addresses.com
This site searches several databases.
http://my.email.address.is/

Switchboard.com
Here you can find phone numbers as well as e-mail addresses.
http://www.switchboard.com/bin/cgiemail.dll

Yahoo People
This is a fairly large directory. Even one of my addresses can be
found here, and I have no idea how they got it.
http://people.yahoo.com/

I am not aware of where you can find someone's e-mail address by
knowing the person's address. If you want to find the address for
someone who works at a particular company, the best place to look is
that company's web site, although likely only a few key addresses wil
be listed.

Obviously it depend on the person (if they have an email address or
not), whether the information has ever been published, or if it's ever
been posted on the internet. The only way to know for sure is to try
it.

to find an email address. But they are not guaranteed to work in all
circumstances. Many email addresses cannot be found by using such
services.

It's very difficult to match a street address and name with an email
address, with any degree of certainty.
