I cannot find "Windows Messenger" in "All Programs" list.

Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger have same functionality. Windows
Messenger comes bundled with WindowsXP; MSN Messenger is free
downloadable.

In control panel, I can see "MSN Add-in for Windows Messenger" and
"MSN Messenger 6.0". I use MSN 6.0 without any problem, which I
downloaded few days ago to replace MSN 5.0.

Please advise where I can find "Windows Messenger" on my PC AND how to
launch it.

Hi there,

I have Windows XP Home edition, and Windows Messenger is where it
should be by default:

Start > All Programs

(on my PC it appears at the very end of the list of programs)

The program location is:

C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe

The easiest way is to launch it is double-click on the file name
within Windows Explorer to get it running, then within Messenger go
to...

Tools > Option > Preferences

...and select Run this program when Windows starts

Best wishes,

Showed me more than one path to solve the problem for just $2. I found
the program in Program Files. It's not in the All Program list.
