You sound like a very dedicated Squirt drinker and I hate to give you
the information I found. I determined that Diet Squirt is produced by
Dr. Pepper and found a phone number for product information on their
website. I talked with a very nice person (Latoya) at 1(800)696-5891
and she tried to locate sources in the Dallas area. Not only could she
not find anything in the Dallas area, but also in Oklahoma, Arkansas,
and Louisiana. She did offer the following suggestion that I know you
specifically ruled out in your question. Diet Squirt is available

Thank you for your answer. As my mother-in-law is actually the
dedicated Diet Squirt-in-cans drinker, I indeed could not take no for
an answer! LOL. (You know how mothers-in-law can be?) So I used the
phone number you provided & sadly, you were right. (Sheepish grin). So
I tried to use the link you provided, but there was no DIET Squirt,
only regular. Can you find a link for the Diet (again, in cans)?

which provides more information.

Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. produces solely the flavoring concentrates
from which the various brands of our soft drinks are made. The
concentrates are then sold to independent franchised bottlers who
determine which finished soft drink beverages and packagings to
produce and distribute to retailers in their territories. For this
reason, not all of our products or packagings are available in every
market. We regret that cans of Diet Squirt are not available in the
areas that you mentioned. However, we will mention your concerns to
your local bottler.

You are very right. I looked at the links that Dr. Pepper furnished
and none had Diet Squirt. I e-mailed each website and requested info
on Diet Squirt in cans and will post any positive reply. I am sorry,
but I trusted Dr. Pepper to give us correct information. It is
starting to look like Diet Squirt is on the endangered soda list.
