What are options for shine control (i.e. to "mattify" oily skin on the
face) out there? Different types & brands. I *do* know that: Lancome
(brand) makes a mattifying gel (type), that Mary Kay (brand) makes a
mattifying creme (type) and that Origins (used to? Does this still
exist?) made a mattifying tonic/liquid (type). I am not interested in
cleansers, astringents, blotting sheets, or powders.

Hi jude1-ga!

Here are some options I have found for shine control, with emphasis on
products that "mattify" the skin.

I tried to focus my research on moisturizers, gels, and corrective
treatments as
opposed to toners, powders and astringents as you requested.

When possible I tried to list the price for each of the products.
All prices should be in USD (U.S. Dollars)

If you have any questions about the information in which I have
provided, feel free to request a clarification of the answer. Please
allow me enough time to respond to your request before you rate my
answer.

Thanks so much!

I'd like to mention that you might also try Clinac O.C. My
dermatologist recommended it and it works better than the mattifiers I
have tried. Good luck!
