How many merchant account providers would you like on the list?

I believe if I filter the list for quality/reliability and reputation,
it will be reduced to a handful...there are quite a few scammers out
there especially targetting the adult/gaming business.

If you're looking for a merchant account provider, personally, I
believe a small but high quality list is much more beneficial than a
long list that you'll have to filter down anyway.

Hi there,

Before I post an answer, I just wanted to make sure it will be what
you expect.

First, I'll explain my procedure.  From previous research/personal
need, I have a current list of very reliable merchant account
providers.  Once you posted your question, I researched further to see
if the there are any reliable merchant account providers not on the
list.  Then, I called each and every one of them and found out whether
they offer services to adult and/or gaming business.
The long list was narrowed and narrowed down to three providers... one
of them offers services to both adult and gaming businesses, and the
other two will not take gaming businesses but will work with adult
businesses.  However, I can assure you that they are very reliable and
can show you the reason behind my confidence.

If this is acceptable, please let me know.

of the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability Program.  In order to
be a part of this program, they must meet strict standards including
positive track record, minimum 1 year in business, acceptable
complaint handling record/procedure, etc.  For more information about

business is not a fraud.

Of the three, the most flexible merchant account provider is Business
America.

They provide services to high risk businesses (adult, gaming,
telemarketing, etc).  They also provide services to international
businesses.  There are no application fees and they process about 1.2
billion dollars per year.


If you are intersted in a merchant account for an adult business, but
not gaming, I would recommend Charge.com
I have heard very positive testimonials from people who've had great
experiences with Charge.com card service.  They have been on the world
wide web for 8 years and serve over 75,000 merchants.  They also have
no setup or application fees (and competitive rates).
