i am looking for research instituties / companies  currently
researching into semantic query caching for spatial databases, with
applications to GIS
( in paricular to mobile environments )  

what i am looking for, is the current progress they have made in this
field :
caching techniques / what algorithms they use for cache replacement
etc. and what are the current products available in market using these algorithms
