Which version of Access?

Are you emailing from a Form, trying to email a Report, or something else?

Ok. I've been given the wonderful fun task of creating a contact
management database, using access. This database has to be able to
send html emails, faxes and letters. I really want the whole thing to
work from within Access, without having to call any other software. I
have a routine i got from the internet that will send emails using
outlook express, but i cant get it to do html emails. I tried sending
HTML to it, but the email just sends the html code itself.

I know i can probably make the email in a report and send it like
that. but I'm just trying to cover my bases.
As usual, I have been given a deadline of "right now!".

This is probably going to be developed in Access XP developers
edition, distributed as a runtime.

Hi den2002,

Microsoft Access Email FAQ
http://216.239.41.100/search?q=cache:Xlaa9ZJiYUkJ:www.granite.ab.ca/access/email.htm+%22MS+Access+email%22+html+&hl=en&ie=UTF-8
This is a "cached Google page" --scroll down till you see the "HTML"
highlighted in blue.

I don't know enough about Access to provide an answer, sorry, but this
link seems to be a good lead. Hopefully another Researcher will pick
up the ball and tell you how to use the programs suggested.

Hi den2002,

Could you clarify what you mean by sending HTML email from Access? If
you want to send a table as an email or an attachment to the email,
you can do so by clicking "File -> Send To->Mail Recipient". You have
multiple options with respect to the format of the attached table say
HTML, XL sheet, Text file or even as an ASP document.

I am not sure if this is the info you are looking for. Maybe you could
give more details for better answer.

Thanks.,
chandru
