The large apparel company I work for is currently evaluating the
purchase of PDM and workflow software to support the sourcing and
design business (making the clothes).

We have a large existing investment in VB/SQL/Access/Excel based
solutions that I fear would be squandered if we moved to a Java based
platform.

I would like to see a list of vendors that use technology that is
primarily Microsoft based, especially .NET technologies. This includes
PDM and/or Workflow products, not necessarily for the apparel
industry.

I have been implementing PDM for almost 3 years, currently as an
advisory I/T specialist in IBM Global Service Team. And If you really
want a .NET based solution then you may try SmartTeam. Other solution
are mainly Java based, but some of them can still work with Microsoft
technology. I know that MatrixOne's solution eMatrix dose have an
ODBC.
