looking for specific book ,  part of a 2 or 3 book series published in
the 1940s  called " adventures with the gods"  in hard cover,  greek
myths...like prometheus with fire and pandoras box are recounted in
very simple language...in very short chapters...early grade school
level...accompanied by simple  full page illustrations. i need author
and title of the books in the series...publisher also(  if you know
