Hello leslie1-ga, The website youre referring to is THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY Most telemarketers cannot call your telephone number if it is in the National Do Not Call Registry. You can register your home and mobile phone numbers for free. Your registration will be effective for five years. Here is the link to the website: http://donotcall.gov/ OR http://donotcall.gov/default.aspx Information for Consumers: Click here http://donotcall.gov/FAQ/FAQConsumers.aspx if you would like more information on how to register, what registration means for you, what calls are covered and more. Press Releases http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/edcams/donotcall/mediacenter.html#press Search Criteria: Do Not Call Registry I hope this helps. If anything is unclear please request clarification and I'll be glad to offer further assistance before you rate my answer and close the question. Best Regards, Bobbie7-ga | |
