Hi malcolm56,

It seems that you have gone to the right area under Internet Explorer
options.
This may be an obvious point but is the "Show Pictures" option under
Tools -> Internet Options... -> Advanced -> Multimedia, checked?

Regards,
lotd

Yes, I have checked and re-checked each topic under multi-media in the
advanced section of Tools-internet options. Still no luck.

Does this happen on any website where pictures are posted? Perhaps it
happens only on one particular site that you are looking at. Also,
what browswer program do you use, Internet Explorer (I suppose this is
it) or Netscape Navigator, and what version?

Try to look at the Security tab under the Internet Options, Custom
Level, then Enable File Download and Mixed Content. I'm not sure if
this'll work, but it's an educated guess.

Malcom,
Do you have any other software running, that perhsps has an add
blocker or anything?. Sometimes a second party software can be
configured to block pictures. Maybe an antivirus program or some other
addon softwaref ro internet security or speed.

Is it possible its not your computer, but the site you're visiting?
Its possible the links to the images you're trying to view are
incorrect. If you have access to another computer, you might try
visiting the website again. If the images are still 'broken' on the
second computer, its possible that it's not the fault of your
computer, but rather the website.
