meaning of the word "SUNJI"

Greetings Njc:

I located a Dravidian term "sunji"

"sundu to lie down, repose, sleep, lie with /Kannad.a; sunj- to sleep,
lie down /Gondi; sunz- (-it-) id./Kond.a; sunja (sunji-) to sleep; n.
sleep /Kui [sk]"

I found this reference at a Korean site
http://www.dashn.com/english/korea_baduk/koreabaduk_01_01.htm:

"...suggests this as the reason for the invention of Baduk, because
there is a phrase "Yojo-wigi, Danju-sunji" meaning that King Yo
invented Baduk to improve Danju's intellect, circa BC 2300."

From the process of elimination, you can see that "sunji" probably
means "intellect."

************

Did you see the word or hear it?

Best regards,
