I've found a date which is probably the right answer to your question,
but without a definitive statement that it was the first time Leopold
Mozart offered his son's work to Breitkopf.

In a collection of Mozart correspondence, including letters from
Leopold Mozart to Breitkopf, the implication is that one particular
letter is Leopold's first attempt to interest Breitkopf in publishing
Wolfgang's work. This was when WA Mozart was sixteen.

The queation I was asked was What was the exact date (day/moth
year)that Leopold Mozart first offered his son's work to J G I
Breitkopf to be published. I need to know the exact date , month , and
year. Thank you very much for your excellent help and quick reply.
