I am looking for, a website service that could send me a complete listing of ALL the latest websites on the internet? I'd prefer a daily email list, or however often they can produce it. I'm looking for news of all sorts of websites (Im told somewhere that theres around 50 new websites produced every day). Please suggest as many sources as you can find, particularly free ones. Thanks. |

I believe there are actually thousands of new websites created every day. A complete listing of all of them would be an unmanageable deluge. |

You can find sites that have appeared in Google today, yesterday, in the last week or month using GooFresh. It requires a search term (try something that will appear on quality sites, like "copyright": http://www.researchbuzz.com/toolbox/goofresh.shtml The best e-zine for new sites is NetSurfer Digest, but it weekly and there is a subscription fee: http://www.netsurf.com/nsd/ There is definitely a market for a daily list of say 100 new sites, but it would require a lot of work. |

There's no way anyone could get, much less have, a list of all the sites on the Internet. I could launch a site in the next five minutes and nobody would know unless I tell someone. It might be possible, however, to get a list of the new domain names added each day. |

Inspired (?) by Pink's second comment and the reference to IBM, I did a Google search for "new websites" "every day". Many pages just vaguely say, "thousands of new websites are being created every day", but some sites are prepared to commit themselves to real round numbers. From the first 100 hits, try these guestimates (dates are US style): "Last I heard, there are 4000 new websites going online every day" http://gnwda.org/TheHomePage/2001/102001.html 2001 "In 2000 there were more than a million, with some 10,000 new websites going up every day." http://www.visitorscentral.com/opportunity.html 2001 "There are 7000 new websites published every day" http://www.litehouseconsulting.com/website_dev.htm 3/18/2002 "You want to be recognized among 14,000 new websites that get published every day." http://www.1link2websites.com/websites-eng/costindi.htm 4/3/2003 "You see, every day over 40,000 New WebSites come online" http://www.advertisingshowcase.net/ 4/14/2003 "Nearly 50,000 "new" Websites come online every day!" http://www.advancedwebsitesolutions.com/domain-registration.htm 11/17/2002 "With over 20 million sites in existence and more than 100,000 new websites being registered every day, the Internet doubles in size every 50 days! No wonder people can't find your website! (That was true in 2000 ~Now it doubles in 33 days, with NEW domain extensions added, like; .info .coop .aero .tv, etc.)" http://www.aimwebs.com/marketing.html 2/1/2002 "Over 100,000 new websites are coming on-line every single day." http://www.gmitc.co.uk/domains.htm 12/10/2002 "Almost 100,000 new websites are launched every day. ---- IBM" http://www.speedmatrixindia.com/compufacts.htm 5/3/2003 Wonder where IBM (and all those other sites) got their information? Hope that's not muddying the waters too murkily... r2l |

Hi Muskee31, You can subscribe to Google Alert using a specific search term. It will then send you an email when new things appear on the Google result pages for that search. It's a really interesting service, and it's free to use. Though not exactly listing all the new sites on the Web, it may come close to what you seek. Hope it helps! |
