In Hanoi's Museum of History I saw prehistoric cave paintings which reminded me a lot of Keith Haring's dancing figures. I would like to know their name and origin. Are these available as faksimile or poster ? Best wishes, Bardo |

I was unable to find the website for museum you mentioned, so I can't be certain of the artist. However, I found some cave art prints that somewhat resemble Haring's artistic style (although, the bright colors that Haring used is not present). Anyway, you might want to take a look at the following links. http://www.respree.com/product/pages/sku/LCAW1249 http://www.respree.com/product/pages/sku/LCAW1250 Hope that helps. |

Dear Respree, yes, the museum doesn't appear to have its own site: ://www.google.de/search?q=%22Vietnam+History+Museum%22&hl=de&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&start=40&sa=N The caves, if I remember correctly, are from the Hoa-Bin region. The drawings indeed look a bit like the ones you indicated, but are much more populated and dense. Hope this helps, Best, Bardo |
