Dear kat1369-ga; Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting question. The answer is NO. "Proxy marriages" (where one or both parties are not physically present, or when a designee stands in for absent person(s) and speaks on his/her behalf with their legal authority) are not permitted or recognized as valid matrimonial unions in the state of Kentucky. MARRIAGE LAWS http://usmarriagelaws.com/search/united_states/kentucky/index.shtml Texas, Colorado and Montana are the only states that recognize this type of union: http://usmarriagelaws.com/search/alternative_lifestyles/proxy_marriages/index.shtml I hope you find that that my research exceeds your expectations. If you have any questions about my research please post a clarification request prior to rating the answer. I welcome your rating and your final comments and I look forward to working with you again in the near future. Thank you for bringing your question to us.
