Did Tim Hardin ever release a single of "If I were a carpenter," and
if so, what was its highest Billboard chart position? And what was the
highest chart position of Bobby Darin's version of "If I were a

Hello annek,

It appears that Tim Hardin did not release "If I Were a Carpenter" as
a single.  It was later a hit for Bobby Darin -- it went to #8 on
Billboard -- as well as The Four Tops and Johnny Cash & June Carter.
