Seems to me like your AV software is causing the problem. Disable ant-virus protection and try again. |

You could try going into Task Manager (you can get to it by pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL), clicking on the Processes tab and ending the process associated with arcsetup.exe. Poe |

Arcsetup.exe is one of the system (boot) files for Windows 2000. If you have dual-boot installed in this machine that might be the problem If not, try running a Windows 2K repair.
