I am looking for web browser usage stats in Europe. It is important that different versions of each browser is represented (ie Netscape 4.7, Opera 6.0). It would also be nice to view by individual country (specifically UK, France, and Germany). Thanks. | |

Keep in mind that all browser stats are inaccurate, due to Opera's default setting that identifies itself as IE. |

Google provides browser statistics and search-by-country statistics at ://www.google.com/press/zeitgeist.html. They don't provide the information you want, but I'm sure they could easily generate it from their logs. You might email them and ask about the possibility. Most other major sites keep track of that kind of stats too, and probably at least some of them would be happy to provide them to you. Of course, the results would be skewed based on what site they came from - apple.com would probably show significantly more Safari than average, for example. However, sites like Google should get fairly accurate stats. |

This is the easiest European Internet statistics page I could find, though it has nothing that could answer your question: http://www.altevie.net/mediagraphix/europeaninternetstats/ |
