A good friend of mine is suffering with pancreatic cancer which has
metasticized to her liver and lungs. In addition to traditional
medicines (ie chemo-which the doctors don't feel will work) she has
started to lean toward non-traditional methods including electro
magnetic therapy and chi quong. The chi quong master working with her
on medition, refuses to walk into her home, because he said that an
Indian was killed there and that his bones are interred
1/2 in the house and 1/2 out and he feels that this "bad kharma" may
be making her sick. Needless to say, she is a bit "freaked out" by
this news, but can't say that she doesn't believe it, because
apparently she knows that someone was murdered in the house years ago.
However she has had nothing but very fond memories in the home for 14
years. Her home is located on the west side of Main street in Portland
CT. Her home number is between 350 - 450 (I don't want to give an
exact location for her privacy) This home was built in the 1800's, and
this area of Portland used to be occupied by the Wangunk Indian tribe.
Portland also used to be referred to as East Chatham or Chatham
Village. My question is: Can you get me any facts about an indian
murdered or missing in this area?
