Hi there, I have identified a major reason for why you have dropped in search engine results: "Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content." ://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html Multiple sites with ostensibly the same content is of no use to web searchers, because they tend to clog up search results. I believe that Google has picked up on your use of more than website to deliver the same information: http://www.balihotels-travel.com/hotels/aston_bali/index.html http://www.bali-hotels-special.com/hotels/aston_bali/index.html ...and penalized you accordingly. To remedy the situation, you need to reduce your web presence to a singular site. The easiest way is to create a robots.txt file for the site(s) you don't want listed: User-agent: * Disallow: / Place it here: www.bali-hotels-special.com/robots.txt (...or the same for whatever site you choose to remove) and then submit them to Google at http://www.google com/addurl.html When Google sees the robots.txt, they will remove your extra sites from the index. Then send an email: Email Google at help@google.com. Use a subject like "I have corrected broken guidelines", so that it stands out as being important. State that you did not realise you were doing anything wrong. Detail what you have done to right the wrongs. Promise to follow the guidelines in future. Best wishes, robertskelton-ga | |

Hi: I understand that the information your putting on your site is the official words from the hotel's brochure. In order for your website to look different than other websites that list the same hotel brochure information, your going to need to edit and change the words, so that the words appear different. Otherwise you'll never regain your ranking. Have someone add some new paragraphs about each hotel, or rewrite the description of each hotel so it is a little bit different. Jon |
