This is the third time you have asked me for this information. I had
requested information as to where to have my phones listed to avoid
the telemarketers. I had emailed www.donotcall.gov many times, and
each time received a response saying that it couldn't be done. I
kept trying and finally received an email saying that I had made too
many requests, and that even though none of them had been validated,
they could not process my request. IF YOU CAN'T GET ME THE PHONE
NUMBER TO CALL, OR IN SOME WAY CORRECT THIS, PLEASE VOID THIS REQUEST.
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

It doesn't work with AOL. If you are on the East coast, you'll have to
wait until after 7/9 and do it by phone.

Here's some info and links from the FTC:

"If you live in a state west of the Mississippi River
(including Minnesota or Louisiana), you can call toll-free,
1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236), from the number you
wish to register."

"Consumers East of the Mississippi River will be able to add
their telephone numbers to the Do Not Call Registry by calling
1-888-382-1222 beginning 12:01 a.m. on Monday, July 7."

In the mean time, here's an excerpt from the Q&A link above:

34. If I don't want to put my number on the National Do Not
Call Registry, can I still stop telemarketers from calling?

Yes. Even if you do not register with the National Do Not Call
Registry, you can still prohibit individual telemarketers,
one by one, from calling, by asking them to put you on their
  company's do not call list.

Actually, it works fine with AOL.
