My best resource by far in conducting your search was the Yahoo!
Group, brace yourself, CNN Cuties
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CNN_cuties/). The listserv description
reads as follows:

"For all who are crazy about the men from CNN! Talk about Michael
Holmes, Shihab Rattansi, John Vause, Galen Crader and all the
others!!"

It's as fanatical as it sounds, and discussions range from John's
haircut to current reporting locale. I discovered a couple of personal
tidbits by searching the list archives' 245 messages mentioning John
Vause:

- Vause's full name is John Darren Vause. 

- According to list member "vsimonen," Vause is engaged. "He told
Carol Costello on air that he met his fiancee at a jazz club in Los
Angeles," she writes.

You might also be interested to learn that list members voted Vause
the best looking CNN correspondent in an informal poll. :)

In order to access the CNN Cuties archives, you must become a member
of the group. Naturally, the accuracy of any postings on an open
listserv isn't guaranteed.

I also found a site listing Vause's personal email address as
john.vause@cnn.com (supertiptops.homestead.com). Again, this might be
sketchy, but if you want to get in touch, it's worth a try!
