Hi smitf7,
Ok, I finally found the website which has the information you need.
According to the IFDH and given what I know of your circumstances, you
will need to apply for training in a UK School of Dental Hygiene
(minimum six months) in order to take the National Examination to
qualify to work in the UK.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please post a
clarification request before rating my answer. It would also be a good
idea to contact the BDHA and the IFDH to tell them your personal
circumstances in the hopes that you already qualify for work in
Britain.
Thank you,
hummer
