I am searching for two films. One was called Radium City, re post
WWII use of radium in glow in dark clock dials, etc., at GE or
Westinghouse factories. City was renamed Radium City for awhile.

2nd film is on the making of the Hales 200" lens for Mt Palomar
Observatory by Corning Glass Works in 1930s.

Hello,

The other film is "Radium City". It's listed on the Internet Movie
Database at this address: http://us.imdb.com/Title?0284691

It was released in 1987, and if I recall I seem to have seen it on
the Discovery Channel. But the title Radium City was a kind of
nickname given to Ottawa, Illinois, where the Radium Dial Company had
its factory for painting the radioactive paint on anything &
everything needing to generate its own illumination. As you may recall
from the documentary, the factory building itself was long ago
demolished and the rubble buried on site, including a considerable
amount of radiological waste materials.
