It needs php as cgi installed and it has to have a imap module
compiled in it.
It will have a maximum of 50,000 users and 1,000 visitors a day.

I need .7 MB per a user if I get all the users I want. Should I use a
UNIX or Windows server? Should I start off with the www.myqth.com or
http://www.prohosters.com/featured/featured_unix.html
$49 or $59 service and then upgrade to the
http://smartconsumers.infinology.com/hccompare.htm
Beginners Management Suite or should I just start off with the
Advanced Users service?

50,000 x .7 - 35000 MB which is substantially more than you're going
to be able to buy for $10 a month (no to mention bandwidth!). You
should either rethink the scope of your project or the money you are

I would pay the $15/month for web hosting by Infinolgy only if I will
need it. But, for now just tell me what service provider I should use
that I listed.

Why PHP as a CGI?  PHP provides much better performance when compiled
into the webserver process.  Just curious.

This is what I was told to have on my web host by the website designer?
